-Handle plant maintenance activities across Electrical, Mechanical & Utilities

-Attend and resolve machine breakdowns to minimize downtime

-Plan and execute Preventive & Predictive Maintenance programs

-Perform system checks on Hydraulic, Pneumatic, CNC, VMC, Press, Press Brake, Welding & SPMs

-Maintain and improve MTBF / MTTR performance indicators

-Establish and sustain SOPs, EHS standards, and maintenance best practices

-Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives

Preferred Background:

-Experience in Sheet Metal / Machining industry

-Hands-on exposure to DG sets, CNC, VMC, Laser Cutting, Press & Welding machines

-Preventive & predictive maintenance of the machines

-Breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC, HMC, SPM & Powder coating machines

-Machine shop Quality assurance & Line supervising,

-Machine availability to production without losing to production

-Setting for the pressing machine operation,

-Should have multi Part maintenance Knowledge, 

-Experience in Rice milling machinery / Silos manufacturing industry is preferable.

-Preparing 3 months’ tentative schedule for supplies based on production plan & shipment plan released by central planning.

-Prepare annual purchase budget-supplier vice based on MPS given by marketing

-Finalization of annual rate contracts with concern suppliers for purchase bought outs.

-Responsible for developing alternate vendors

-Focus on Quality, Reliability and ensure On-Time delivery along with cost optimization

-Release purchase orders based on MRP demand

-Responsible for maintaining inventory levels for purchase bought outs by concern Engineer as per the norms fixed by management

-Co-Ordinate for design change with central planning / Design / production / QC / Supplier

-Responsible for supplies from concern suppliers to meet monthly production adherence & OTD

-Obtaining quarterly account statement / resolving finance related issues & coordinate with finance to issue of “C” forms

-Logistic management to collect the material from supplier as & when required

-Coordinate with stores / QC for incoming materials and provide clarification with respect to any discrepancy regarding PO /Schedule /Quantity variation if any.

-Arranging for job work, repair & rework of components etc. from the supplier.

-Visit supplier’s place to assess technical & commercial capabilities of suppliers with QA team before introducing into the master list

-Negotiation with the supplier to arrive the most competitive price

-Arrange supplier meeting with QA /After sales / Design to rectify the customer / in-house complaints

-Ensure to maintain all records and documents in line with IMS (ISO, EMS, OHASH) Standard

-Purchasing of non-stock items/consumables / General Stationary / capital equipment’s against purchase requisition from end user.
