-Study customer RFQs, drawings & specifications and conduct feasibility analysis.

-Identify acceptance/rejection criteria and technical clarifications.

-Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations and roll-up costing.

-Coordinate with Suppliers, Sub-contractors, Sales, Engineering & Procurement teams for costing inputs.

-Analyze BOM, material, labour, equipment and process costs.

-Review project costs and market trends to improve pricing accuracy.

-Support RFQ, DFM, NPD, supplier/customer visits and CAM activities.

-Experience in Engineering / Manufacturing / Process Plant industry preferred

-Strong understanding of drawings, processes, costing and commercial aspects

-Handle plant maintenance activities across Electrical, Mechanical & Utilities

-Attend and resolve machine breakdowns to minimize downtime

-Plan and execute Preventive & Predictive Maintenance programs

-Perform system checks on Hydraulic, Pneumatic, CNC, VMC, Press, Press Brake, Welding & SPMs

-Maintain and improve MTBF / MTTR performance indicators

-Establish and sustain SOPs, EHS standards, and maintenance best practices

-Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives

Preferred Background:

-Experience in Sheet Metal / Machining industry

-Hands-on exposure to DG sets, CNC, VMC, Laser Cutting, Press & Welding machines

-Setting for the pressing machine operation,

-Should have multi Part maintenance Knowledge, 

-Should have good knowledge using design software like Autodesk Inventor(Must), solid works. Solid edge

-Familiar in 3D software like solid edge, Autodesk inventor and auto cad,

-Should have worked in design of SPMs, machine design, fixtures, automation.

-Knowledge on drawing standards, GD&T, ASME

-Capability to generate concept design & convert to detail design after approval using CAD Software

-Should know detailed calculations to develop Design & drawings for manufacturing, construction, installation standards and specifications

-Good communication and analytical skill

-Coordinate with production, manufacturing & Quality

-Well versed in selection of mechanical components including motor, servo, bearings, LM rails, wheels, gears, oil seal, O-rings etc

-Familiar in calculations in deriving design of shaft, gears, structural members, thermal heat etc.

-Knowledge of new product development (NPD), FEA, Bought outs, Standard parts

-Delivering project on time without reworks
